On October 13, the winners of the “Entrepreneurship Award” competition of the joint agency of EAS and Kredex and the Central Union of Estonian Employers and the best companies of the “Competitiveness Ranking” competition of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry were revealed. The title of the most competitive food industry company in Estonia went to A. Le Coq for the 14th time.
According to Katrin Vernik, the Marketing Manager of A. Le Coq, this year’s award is particularly significant recognition for the entire A. Le Coq team. “The prolonged and perfect storm that has hit the business environment has shaken the current economic situation and led us to seek solutions on how to maintain efficient and profitable production while preserving competitiveness,” said Vernik. “The received award is a testament to the good work, efforts, and right decisions of our employees.”
Toomas Luman, the Chairman of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised all entrepreneurial individuals. “At a time when crises still persist, it is good to take a moment and highlight companies whose activities, achievements, and entrepreneurship deserve attention and recognition in these conditions. They are the stars of the business landscape, whose stories need to be shared, and from whom we have much to learn,” affirmed Luman.
The Competitiveness Rankings is part of Estonia’s largest entrepreneurship competition, jointly organized by three organizations: the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Estonian Entrepreneurship Development Agency (EAS), and the Estonian Employers’ Confederation.
