The secret to the characteristic, bittersweet and spicy flavour of Hoegaarden lies in the orange peel and coriander incorporated into the mix of natural spring water, unmalted wheat, malted barley, and hops. Hoegaarden is unfiltered and undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle or keg, giving it its natural and slightly cloudy appearance.
