The Estonia’s Best Beverage competition brought high recognition to A. Le Coq’s products!

On November 16, as part of the Maitsev Eesti festival, the Estonian Sommelier Association presented awards to beverage producers.

The highlight of the day was the Best Beer competition in the lager-style category, where October Brew claimed the overall victory! In the same category, the silver medal was awarded to Premium Fest.

Additionally, in the dark beer category (Lager & Ale), the Jõuluporter won the gold medal! This marks the second recognition for Jõuluporter in 2024—it was also named the best Christmas beer at the Tallinn Food Fair earlier this year.

A total of 164 different beverages were evaluated through blind tastings (with the appearance of the drinks covered). The beverages were assessed by renowned Estonian sommeliers, bartenders, journalists, and other industry experts. The evaluations were conducted independently, based on the style and type of product submitted. The judges relied on information provided by the producers in such a way that the product’s identity remained as anonymous as possible.
